The “Gaming” plan is available for users of “Home Internet” as a standalone service, or in a package with “Interactive TV” and/or “Home Phone.” The most cost-effective offer is the multi-service package, which comes for as low as 740 rubles.

The company continues to generate new offers for clients and strives to make them unique, noted Diana Samoshkina, vice-president for public segment at Rostelecom.

“Today, thanks to cooperation between Rostelecom and Wargaming, thousands World of Tanks fans in Russia gained exclusive gaming advantages. We see that ‘Home Internet’ users are taking great interest in the plan,” she said.

In turn, Alexei Olekhnovich, head of special projects department at Wargaming, stressed that cooperation with Rostelecom is a milestone for the game development company.

“Today, we have set a cornerstone for long-term cooperation between the two market leaders. This will help significantly improve access to our gaming services and augment traditional data plans with new content. The launch of ‘Gaming’ data plan is only the first step on a long and important line. Nowadays, by joining forces between the companies, we are shifting the focus of traditional data market services towards the gaming industry,” he pointed out.

At the moment, Rostelecom already connected the Russian servers of such Wargaming titles as World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and World of Warships directly to its data network, improving availability of all MMORPG clusters by the company.

As of this moment, Rostelecom users can enjoy low-ping sessions in World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and World of Warships. In the near future, they will be able to download client updates for these games at an improved speed.
