Over 55,000 customers already using Penza region Rostelecom fiber optic network

Penza, 26 February 2016. PenzaNews. Over 55,000 Rostelecom users in the Penza region are already using the Fiber To The Building and Fiber To The Home access technology, for the first time exceeding the customer base which is still using copper-based connection.

According to information provided by the company, the client base is growing thanks to great demand for high-speed Internet access, “Interactive TV” and such high-end services as “Video Rental,” “Watch Control,” “Karaoke” and “Multiscreen.”
In 2015, Rostelecom for the first time connected the apartment buildings in Tamala, Issa and Kondol to its broadband fiber optic line, significantly increased fiber optic coverage in Penza and other cities and towns, and began providing telecommunications services in “Dubrava,” “Zolotaya Podkova,” “Bugrovka” and “Rayki” villa communities.
The fiber optic network created by experts of the company is a reliable state-of-the-art structure, says director for the Penza branch of Rostelecom Lev Dyatlov.
“The new networks have enormous potential in development of broadband data access. The available services allow us to constantly expand the available product line via supplementing it with cutting-edge services,” he said.
