Penza, 28 May 2017. PenzaNews. The international company FunCorp, which has offices in Penza, Moscow, Limassol, Los Angeles and is a member of the association of software developers "Secon", opened an accelerator of entertainment startups FunCubator and plans to allocate 10 million dollars for support of promising projects.

According to an initiator of the project, FunCubator is a unique phenomenon on the Russian startup market because it occupied a niche that is usually avoided by business angels and venture capital funds.

"Entertainment is a risk that is hard to estimate. We are also aware of this but we will invest our money, iFunny traffic [FunCorp's flagship product] and expertise in creation of products. We want to support those who create fun, to give them a resource, expertise and an ability to prove hypotheses," the managing partner of FunCubator Victor Zakharchenko commented on his Facebook profile.

Applications for participation in the first admission round will be accepted till June 18.

It is planned to conduct three admissions over two years.
