Penza, 6 July 2017. PenzaNews. Implementation of the federal project "Elimination of digital inequality" is carried out in the Penza region according to the established schedule. This was reported by the director of the Penza branch of the PJSC "Rostelecom" Lev Dyatlov.

"The programme will be completed by the year 2021. The schedule for the whole territory of Russia is determined in Moscow. As far as the Penza region is concerned, we proceed according the schedule," he said at the meeting with mobile communications operators that was held in the regional government on Thursday, July 6.

According to Lev Dyatlov, by the moment, access points were installed in 63 settlements out of 228 planned ones.

As the press service of the Penza branch of the PJSC "Rostelecom" told PenzaNews, in 2017 it is planned to put in operation another 18 points in the territory of the Belinsky and Nizhnelomovsky areas as well as to build 241 km of fibre-optic communication line.
