Tele2 launches 4G network in Penza region

Penza, 25 January 2018. PenzaNews. The mobile operator Tele2 put a 4G/LTE network into commercial operation in the Penza region.

As the press service of the macroregion Chernozemye told PenzaNews, Tele2, high-speed mobile Internet of the fourth generation is now available to residents of Penza, Zarechny, Sursk and seven areas of the region – the Mokshansky, Shemysheysky, Bekovsky, Narovchatsky, Lopatinsky, Gorodishchensky and Bessonovsky areas.
"The 4G network is available in the frequency range of 1800 MHz, which provides wide coverage and high speed of information transmission. The peculiarities of the frequency allow using mobile Internet comfortably not only in the streets but also inside," the company noted.
The press service added that in connection with the launch of LTE when choosing the tariffs "My conversation", "My online", "My online+" in the period from January 25 to April 25 2018 new subscribers of the operator will receive a double packet of 4G traffic free of charge.
