As reported on the official website of the company, the new conditions for subscribers residing also in the Penza region will enter into force on February 28 and allow reducing the cost of communication when travelling around Russia from 2 to 10 times.

It is expected that the first stage of the changes will have an effect on those MTS clients who use the most popular tariff plans. Until the middle of 2018 it is also planned to implement several other stages of price reduction for travellers around the country.

All changes will become basic by default: there will be no need for subscribers to enable any services.

A number of tariffs within the MTS network will allow using the Internet, minutes, and messages without additional payments – like at home when in another region.

For example, if a Penza resident goes to Saransk, they will be able to surf the Internet, send messages and call all local numbers using prepaid traffic of a usual package. Incoming calls from all local numbers will be free of charge. Long distance incoming and outgoing calls will be paid but the cost will drop by almost half.
