Application Historical Penza presented to young parliamentarians

The head of the centre for project creativity of the student scientific society under the Faculty of Computer Engineering of Penza State University, Dmitry Danilin, presented the mobile application Historical Penza with the supplement On the Trails of Forgotten Estates at a meeting of the youth parliament under the regional Legislative Assembly.

He reminded that the work on the product had started at the end of 2017.
"All objects are shown as points on the map – first in a restricted mode. A user can see only the name of the object, its visualization on the map and the distance to it in a real-time mode," Dmitry Danilin explained.
According to him, to get full access to information about a certain attraction it is necessary to visit it or to obtain a paid subscription.
"Passing an object you have not visited before the app will send you a push-notification," the head of the centre for project creativity noted.
Dmitry Danilin said that the supplement devoted to estates works slightly differently – information about them is available to the user all the time.
"To date, the GIS and its components are at the stage of open beta-testing," a member of the personnel reserve of the youth parliament said specifying that to access the app it is necessary to enter the community of the centre on the social network VKontakte.
Answering the question of what the money from the purchase of premium accounts will be spend for Dmitry Danilin noted that first and foremost it will be spent for the improvement of material and technical facilities and in the future – for the lease of powerful servers.
