Penza, 31 January 2019. PenzaNews. The Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation in the Penza region recognized the actions of LLC Maksoft, LLC Print, LLC Interga and LLC Lanfors, which concluded an agreement that led or could lead to price maintenance at an auction, as violation of Federal Law "On Protection of Competition".

According to the press service of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the case on the grounds of the cartel agreement was initiated on the basis of information received from the regional FSB department in Penza.

"In 2015-2017, the customers of the Penza region conducted 24 competitive procedures for the supply of IT equipment for a total of more than 500 million roubles. In the course of the proceedings, it was established that LLC Maksoft, LLC Print, LLC Interga and LLC Lanfors had eliminated competition among themselves. Therefore their actions had led or could lead to price maintenance at the auction," FAS explained.

The press service added that due to the collusion, contracts had been concluded at the initial (maximum) price.

The department explained that the companies had received orders prohibiting violation of antitrust laws.
