Council led by Valery Savin to work on AIDS spread prevention

Penza, 17 February 2016. PenzaNews. The vice governor Valery Savin has headed the coordination council on socially sensitive diseases prevention under the Penza region government. The new body will be dealing with prevneting the spread of AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis B and C, and other diseases of the similar level within the region.

The list of the council members has been approved by the gubernatorial decree signed by the head of the region Ivan Belozertsev on February 15.
The list includes 18 people, such as: heads of several regional bodies; Vladimir Stryuchkov, head of the regional Health Ministry; Alexander Voronkov, Minister of Education; Grigory Kabelsky, Minister of Sports; Tatyana Kurdova, head of the regional Department of Culture and Archive; Mikhail Perekusikhin, head of the local Rospotrebnadzor department; Lyubov Finogeeva, head of the Finance Ministry; and Dmitry Troshin, Minister of Labor, Social Security and Demography.
Also, the council features Sergei Rybalkin, chief medical officer of the Penza dedicated clinical medical assistance center; his assistant Sergei Oleynik; and Gumer Khasanshin, CMO of the regional tuberculosis hospital.
Reportedly, the coordination council will its meetings when necessary – at least once every 6 months.
The decisions of the council will be non-regulatory.
