“We must work with every man living on your territories that you know to be struggling with alcoholism. Together with doctors, social security services, neighborhood police officers, all invested parties. We must do all what it takes to make them go to drug counseling and agree to voluntary treatment,” she said during the meeting session of the intradepartmental governmental committee on death cause analysis, held on Friday, February 19.
These people must be kept under special attention, Oksana Chizhova added.
“Actively involve paramedics in village first-aid stations and clinics in this work,” the assistant minister added.
At the moment, the ministry is tasked to investigate a possible legislative initiative related to enforced treatment of alcoholism, the press service of the Penza region Health Ministry informed PenzaNews agency.
