Penza, 5 March 2016. PenzaNews. A total of 81 people donated over 38 liters of blood during the campaign dedicated to International Women’s Day held by the Penza regional blood transfusion station on Friday, March 4.

These people featured both regular donors and those who visited the transfusion station for the first time.

“We congratulate the women donors for their contribution to saving lives, and are giving them presents with donors’ insignia,” said Tatyana Krylova, chief medical officer of the regional blood transfusion station.

According to the website of the Penza region Health Ministry, blood can be donated at the transfusion station at 8.00-13.00, Monday to Friday, as well as at 9.00-13.00 every Thursday in the regional oncology treatment center.
