Penza, 7 June 2016. PenzaNews. Foreign medical professionals took interest in the medical devices produced by the Penza cluster “Biomed” that were displayed during the TCT Russia international congress in Moscow dedicated to endovascular diagnosis and treatment.

The congress attracted worldwide-renown endovascular and cardiovascular experts from Europe, the United States, Latin America and Southeast Asia, as well as Germany, Brasil and China, who discussed the issues in this medical treatment field.

TCT Russia also featured a showcase expo by producers of medical devices and tools for endovascular treatment.

The Penza region cluster “Biomed” set up a united display stand for production of its companies thanks to support of the Center of Cluster Development.

According to Alexei Shatrov, head manager of “NanoMed,” the display presented both regular production and R&D.

He added that “MedInzh” presented his transcatheter delivery heart valve, while “NanoMed” showcased a coronary stent with medicinal covering, a stent with carbon covering, and periphery arterial stents.

“Foreign medical experts praised the competitive advantages of our products. We held talks with several clinics during the expo and reached preliminary agreements to test Penza-made devices in the nearest future,” Alexei Shatrov pointed out.
