Penza, 8 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Burdenko Penza regional clinical hospital will set up an emergency dentistry office that will be open from 22.00 to 8.00, as well as on weekends and holidays.

The decision was made by the regional Minister of Health Vladimir Stryuchkov, who signed the decree to enter force on June 15.

The office is undergoing the licensing process, the press service of the Penza region Health Ministry informed PenzaNews.

“The emergency doctors will be able to provide timely dentistry services to patients with acute evening toothache, acute infections in the mouth. It must be pointed out that the emergency dentistry office will not remove teeth, install tooth caps or prosthetics. The patients will be able to receive these services in other branches of the city dentistry clinic and the children’s dentistry,” they explained.

According to the ministry, the aid will be provided to both adults and children living in the Penza region; each request will be further facilitated by having a personal medical insurance certificate.
