Penza region receives 225 thousand more flu vaccine doses

Penza, 17 October 2016. PenzaNews. The last batch of flu vaccines totaling 225 thousand doses was delivered to the Penza region.

As reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health, in total, 450 thousand vaccine doses were delivered to the region.
“It was distributed among all the state budgetary health institutions. The immunization is carried out at the place of residence within the national calendar of preventive vaccination, or sponsored by employers,” the department said.
The Ministry noted that more than 312 thousand people were flu vaccinated, that is 52.7% of the plan.
As PenzaNews reported earlier, the initial batch of influenza vaccine was delivered to the Penza region in the end of August. The region received 225 thousand doses of “Sovigripp” vaccine for immunization of adults and 25 thousand doses “Grippol+” for children.
One more batch of vaccine for children arrived in the beginning of October.
