Penza, 5 January 2017. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev remained unsatisfied with the speed of the works on the perinatal centre construction, which is built in the territory of the Burdenko Penza regional hospital.

“When we were changing the contractor, it was agreed that the builders will work several shifts without holidays and days off. However, this condition is not fully fulfilled, there are not enough people,” he noted during the visit to the construction site on Wednesday, January 4.

The head of the region reminded that at present the task is to open the perinatal centre in spring, 2017.

“No subjective reasons will prevent us from doing this,” Ivan Belozertsev emphasized.

As it was reported by the press service of the regional government, at present, the workers carry out final interior decoration of the rooms, instal interior utilities and processing equipment in all supporting premises – nutrition department, electrical substations, medical gas station. The gas pipeline and the gas boiler house were finished. The installation of elevator equipment will soon begin.
