Penza, 14 February 2017. PenzaNews. Over 1,500 Penza doctors will undergo training in 2017. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.

"599 doctors will undergo certificate training and 1,041 doctors – thematic advanced training at the premises of leading Russian institutes and Penza institute of advanced doctors' training within the framework of continuous medical education," the department specified.

The ministry noted that at present, 82 doctors from medical institutions of the Penza region undergo training.

"Five doctors from the Penza region undergo occupational retraining specializing in geriatrics at the premises of Russian medical academy of continuous medical education in Moscow," the press service added.

The Ministry of Health emphasized the fact that seven more specialists undergo training in Kazan, Saint-Petersburg, and Moscow specializing in surgery, neurology, therapy, and pediatric endocrinology.
