The Burdenko Penza regional hospital received new resuscitation equipment – an apparatus with the function of invasive monitoring – within the sponsor support provided by the group of companies "Sucden" in gratitude for saving the life of a French citizen who was injured at the "Atmis-sakhar" factory.

"We are grateful to doctors who displayed professionalism as well as humaneness. Even French doctors note that the level of medical assistance provided in Penza hospitals is extremely high," the general director of the LLC “Atmis-sakhar” Andrei Kharchenko emphasized.

According to the head of the regional cardiovascular centre of the Burdenko clinical hospital Mikhail Krasnov, the new equipment will help doctors in complicated situations.

"Our hospital provides high-technology medical care. We carry out the most complicated operations on brain vessels, which often require such apparatus that would be able to control the state of a patient in extreme conditions every second," he explained.

The chief medical officer of the regional hospital Alexander Nikishin also expressed gratitude for the new equipment.

"We take care of all patients regardless of their nationality. Sponsorship has existed in Russia since its early days. The apparatus we received is very important. It goes without saying that we will use it for providing specialized medical care to our patients," the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Penza region quoted the head of the institution.
