Penza, 5 May 2017. PenzaNews. The major works on the construction of the perinatal centre on the territory of the Burdenko Penza regional hospital are planned to be finished by June. This was reported by the governor Ivan Belozertsev during his inspection of the facility on Friday, May 5.

"Till the end of May we plan to finish main construction works in order to install the equipment there. We can see that finishing works are in process and most of them have been finished by now. [...] Everything goes according to the schedule endorsed by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision," the head of the region said.

He specified that installation of the equipment will be carried out by specialists from Moscow.

"We already selected doctors. [...] Last year they underwent training but before the object is put into operation we will conduct an instruction so that physicians and specialists of the centre be the most worthy and professional ones," Ivan Belozertsev added.

The governor expressed the opinion that the building of the perinatal centre will become a Penza attraction.

"As soon as the territory is cleaned, it will turn nice," the head of the region noted.
