Penza, 18 July 2017. PenzaNews. Tuberculosis morbidity in the Penza region decreased by 22.7% in the six months of the 2017 year in relation to the same period last year.

As reported on the website of the medical information analysis center, 184 cases were revealed in the six months.

The tuberculosis incidence rate is 13.6 per 100 thousand people.

In Penza 57 people came down with tuberculosis. The morbidity rate is 10.9 per 100 thousand people, which is lower than the regional rate.

The highest morbidity rate is found in the Kolyshley and Maloserdobinsky areas – 33.6 per 100 thousand people, and in the Lopatino area – 29.7.
