Over 200 cases of tuberculosis registered in Penza region in 7 months
Penza, 21 August 2017. PenzaNews. 204 cases of tuberculosis were registered in the Penza region over seven months of the year 2017. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being (Rospotrebnadzor).

The incidence equalled to 15.2 cases per 100,000 population, which is 22.4% less compared to an analogous period of 2016.
42.6% of the cases are represented by bacillary forms.
At the same time, only 42.3% of Penza region residents underwent preventive X-ray examination for tuberculosis over seven months.
The number of people who underwent X-ray examination is below the indicative figure in the Bekovsky area – 34.9%, Maloserdobinsky area – 34.9%, Narovchatsky area – 34.4%, and in Kondolsky district of the Penza region - 34.9%.
