The ceremony took place in the territory of the ambulance station in Pionerskaya street in Penza on Thursday, August 31.

Turning to those present, the Minister of Health of the region Vladimir Stryuchkov reminded that in 2016 the region had already received 48 buses.

"By the end of the year we are going to get 24 vehicles more," he noted.

Vladimir Stryuchkov explained that the fleet of basic life support ambulances in rural areas had been renewed by almost 100%, and in Penza 67 vehicles still had to be replaced.

"Thus, the issue of material security in terms of the availability of emergency vehicles will be solved for a certain period of time," the minister summed up.

Vladimir Stryuchkov noted that the issue of first aid and emergency assistance provision receives a special attention in the territory of the Penza region.

"It is the stage that has a direct influence on the success of treatment, preservation of health and life often depends of it. That is why your qualification and competence must be on a higher level," he specified.

Then, Vladimir Stryuchkov together with the vice governor Valery Savin handed the car keys to the paramedics.
