Penza, 23 November 2017. PenzaNews. The first childbirth successfully took place in the Penza perinatal centre on Thursday, November 23. This was reported by the chairman of the regional government Nikolai Simonov.

"The first girl was born in our perinatal centre," he said at a meeting in the Penza region government.

According to Nikolai Simonov, this was the reason why the regional minister of health would miss the meeting.

"He is busy with this fact," Nikolai Simonov specified.
