"Female population of the city will get an opportunity to undergo mammography examination on high-precision diagnostic equipment in February. Currently, necessary technical procedures related to installation and commissioning of the equipment are being completed," the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Penza region reports.

The department noted that modern mammographs have minimal radiation exposure and at the same time allow to determine the risk of breast cancer as precisely as possible.

"Now 12 mammographs will operate in medical institutions located in the territory of the regional centre," the press service specified.
