Penza, 17 January 2018. PenzaNews. Eleven respiratory medical devices were received by hospitals of the Penza region. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Health.

The department noted that they play an important role in providing emergency medical care to persons suffering from respiratory diseases, especially during the spread of influenza and acute respiratory infection.

"Today, the influenza and acute respiratory infection situation is stable in the Russian Federation. Exceeding of epidemic threshold is observed only in three subjects of the country – in the Astrakhan and Bryansk regions as well as in Saint Petersburg. In the Penza region according to data of the regional Rospotrebnadzor department, the acute respiratory infection incidence is 17.7% lower than the control level of the epidemic threshold," the press service said.
