Almost 180 children born in Penza region thanks to IVF procedure

Penza, 6 February 2018. PenzaNews. 178 children were born in the Penza region in 2017 thanks to the procedure of in-vitro fertilization (IVF). This was reported by the press service of the regional government.

As a result of 821 IVF procedures, 283 patients were registered as pregnant.

Penza married couples turned for the service to 22 clinics of different cities of Russia – Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saratov and Ryazan, as well as to local medical institutions with high results of effectiveness of in-vitro fertilization. It amounted to 35.1% with the average level in the country of 32%.
