Penza, 31 March 2018. PenzaNews. 25% of Penza region population is planned to be examined for HIV in 2018. Such data was announced at the meeting of the anti-epidemic commission held by deputy chairman of the regional government Oleg Yagov.

It was noted that a special emphasis will be made on people belonging to risk groups – drug addicts, alcohol abusers and citizens with sexually transmitted diseases.

In Penza the coverage of the examination is expected to be wider – up to 50%, the press service of the regional ministry of health reports.
