According to the department, this is more than last year, which is due to the increase in funding.
Currently, complicated operations in the framework of high-tech medical care provision are carried out by 17 medical organizations of different forms of incorporation in 15 most demanded fields including traumatology and orthopaedics, neonatology, otorhinolaryngology, dermatovenereology, ophthalmology, urology, obstetrics, gynaecology, oncology, cardiology and others.
It is planned that by the end of 2018 high-tech medical care will have been received by about 12,000 residents of the Penza region, which is 1,000 people more compared to the level of 2017.
