PenzaNews. 132 children were born in the Penza region from January to June 2018 thanks to the procedure of in vitro fertilization, which is included in the list of services financed at the expense of compulsory health insurance. This was reported by the press service of the regional Compulsory Health Insurance Fund.

According to the institution, in the first half of the year 361 procedures provided by insurance policy were held, 128 patients were registered pregnant.

The procedure of cryopreservation of embryos provided by insurance policy was executed to 92 residents of the Penza region. 12 women took the opportunity to use cryoconserved embryos.
