Penza, 24 September 2018. PenzaNews. In 2019, over 500 million roubles will be allocated from the federal budget for reconstruction of the Penza regional children's clinical hospital named after N.F. Filatov. This was reported by the Minister of Health of the region Vladimir Stryuchkov.

"This includes reconstruction of the admission and diagnostics department at the ground floor, creation of intensive care units, repair and reconstruction of existing departments and the former maternity hospital," he explained at the action meeting in the Penza region government on Monday, September 24.

According to him, it was Elena Baibarina, director of the Department of Medical Aid to Children and Obstetric Service under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, who during a business trip to Penza let him know that the reconstruction of the children's hospital had been included in the federal programme.

"The decision of a commission of experts has been received. Equipment worth a total of more than 200 million roubles was included in the programme," Vladimir Stryuchkov noted.

He added that it was planned to bring all children's clinics and departments in accordance with the regulations in the Penza region as well as in the whole country.

"In the next two or three years we should make a great contribution to the material and technical conditions," the minister noted.
