Penza region receives second batch of vaccine against influenza

Penza, 8 November 2018. PenzaNews. The second batch of the vaccine for the prevention of influenza, supplied as part of the national vaccination schedule, was delivered to the Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.

The ministry said that 75,551 doses for children and 297,000 – for adults had been distributed among subordinate institutions.
"Currently, the epidemiological situation in the region on the incidence of acute viral infections is favourable. The incidence is below the epidemic threshold. Cases of flu have not been registered," the ministry noted.
The press service reminded that vaccination against influenza is carried out in clinics at the place of attachment, preliminary examination of a doctor or paramedic is mandatory.
