Penza, 26 December 2018. PenzaNews. In 2019 the Penza region will not obtain funding from the federal budget for the construction of a laboratory and diagnostics department of the oncology centre. This was reported by Minister of Health of the region Vladimir Stryuchkov.

"When it comes to the oncology centre, I can say the following: this is a project of the Ministry of Health, the registration certificate and project documentation were endorsed. [...] There is no chance for us to get federal funds for the project in 2019, but we will definitely receive them in 2020," he said at a press conference in the government on Wednesday, December 26.

Vladimir Stryuchkov reminded that the cost of the project is more than 700 million roubles.

"The construction will start next year [in 2019] because over 58 million roubles were allocated from the regional budget. We will start [...] to prepare the site and networks," he explained.
