Programme to provide housing for workers of health care service adopted in Penza region
Penza, 7 March 2019. PenzaNews. The government of the Penza region adopted a programme to provide housing for medical workers of public health institutions operating in the region.

The Ministry of Health of the Penza region was appointed responsible for the execution of the programme. The Department of State Property of the region will provide assistance.
The main goal of the program is to eliminate the shortage of doctors. It is planned to implement it in one stage – from 2019 to 2022.
The total amount of financing will be about 57 million roubles, including 50.6 million roubles in 2019. It is expected that this will be the funds of the regional budget.
Four institutions – the interregional hospitals located in Kamenka, Kuznetsk, Serdobsk, and Nizhny Lomov will participate in the programme.
Due to the measures taken, it is planned to involve cardiologists, neurologists, oncologists, doctors for x-ray endovascular diagnosis and treatment, as well as cardiovascular surgeons.
The mechanism will be as follows: public health institutions of the Penza region will receive subsidies for the purchase of residential premises; they will be included in a specialized fund and then provided to the participants of the program under employment contracts.
