Penza, 5 March 2019. PenzaNews. Over 9.5 billion roubles will be allocated for the implementation of the national project "Health Care Service" in the Penza region over three years, including about 2.7 billion roubles in 2019. This was reported by governor Ivan Belozertsev.

According to him, reconstruction of N.F. Filatov children's hospital will be carried out and the oncology centre will receive new equipment this year.

The head of the region added that reconstruction of the Serdobsk interregional children's hospital named after N.A. Nastin and construction of three children’s clinics in Nizhny Lomov, Zasechny and Penza are planned.

"There are plenty of issues in this field that have not been solved yet but are of top priority. These are the personnel issue, repair of existing premises and construction of new ones, renewal of the material base of hospitals and clinics," the press service of the regional government quotes Ivan Belozertsev.
