Penza, 25 March 2019. PenzaNews. 40 doctors are planned to be trained within the next six years to fight cancer in the Penza region. This was reported by minister of health of the region Vladimir Stryuchkov.

According to him, these will be 24 oncologists engaged in the treatment of adult patients, two doctors treating cancer in children, as well as six radiotherapists and eight radiologists.

"The training also includes clinical studies. This is a two-year training program of additional professional education," Vladimir Stryuchkov said, adding that the use of distance learning technologies is provided.
