Seven of them are mobile intensive care units, which will be used in Penza and also delivered to the hospitals of Kuznetsk, Kamenka, Nizhnelomovsk and Serdobsk.

When handing the keys to the brigades, governor Ivan Belozertsev said that in 2019 about 50 million roubles had been allocated for the purchase of ambulance vehicles from the federal and regional budgets.

"Nowadays, Penza region is fully equipped with ambulances," he said, adding that in spite of this vehicles are planned to be purchased further.

According to the press service of the regional government, the implementation of the program to update the ambulance fleet started in the region in 2016.
