Penza, 3 April 2020. PenzaNews. The number of people infected with novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) has increased in Penza region to 27. This was evidenced by data of Rospotrebnadzor.

According to the agency, over the past day, the diagnosis was confirmed in 11 people.

There are no recoveries in Penza region yet. One patient died.

As of April 3, a total of 4 149 cases of infection with novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 were registered in Russia. Over the entire period, more than 280 people recovered, 34 died.

Over 575 000 tests for coronavirus were conducted in the country.
