First woman infected with coronavirus in Penza discharged from hospital

Penza, 4 April 2020. PenzaNews. The woman who became the first patient in Penza with confirmed novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) was discharged from the Penza Regional Clinical Centre for Specialized Types of Medical Care. This was said by spokeswoman of the governor and government of the region Dina Cheremushkina.

“This is a great victory for our doctors,” she emphasized.

Dina Cheremushkina added that health workers are fighting for everyone.

"The woman has recovered. Her tests for COVID-19 were negative. None of the 244 people who had contacted her fell ill," she specified.
