Zarechny, 11 April 2020. PenzaNews. A hospital with 80 beds for the treatment of patients with novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) will be arranged in Zarechny of Penza region.

“All beds are provided with oxygen. Four artificial lung ventilation apparatuses were delivered to the department,” the message posted on the city hall’s website says.

It adds that the hospital staff, which will work at the premises of the department of infectious disease of the medical unit No. 59, are provided with personal protective equipment for the first time, the necessary medicines are available.

"As early as Monday [April 13], Zarechny doctors will be ready to place inpatients with suspected moderate and severe coronavirus in the hospital," the text says.

The report emphasizes that it is necessary to observe the regime of self-isolation in order to prevent the worst case scenario.
