Penza, 27 April 2020. PenzaNews. More than 27 000 people were tested in Penza region for novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) as of Monday, April 27. This was stated in a message spread by the press service of the regional department of the Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being (Rospotrebnadzor).

“The virology laboratory of the Federal State Health Institution ‘Centre of Hygiene and Epidemiology in Penza Region’ examined 16 107 people and carried out 16 859 tests," the text specifies.

It adds that the laboratories of the health facilities examined 11 226 people and carried out 12 020 tests.

"Laboratories have enough test kits to diagnose novel coronavirus infection," the message stresses.
