Penza, 29 April 2020. PenzaNews. The number of cases of infection with novel coronavirus COVID-19 increased in Penza region from 322 to 364. This was evidenced by the data of the communication centre under the government of Russia, relevant at 10.45 on Wednesday, April 29.

Over the past 24 hours, the diagnosis was confirmed in 42 people.

During the whole period 96 people recovered in the region and seven patients died.

Thus, currently there are 261 people infected with COVID-19 in Penza region.

As a whole, 99 399 cases of novel coronavirus infection were registered in Russia, including 5 841 in the last 24 hours.

10 286 people recovered and 972 died, including 1 830 and 108 patients, respectively, in the last 24 hours.

The number of patients at present is 88 141.
