Penza, 3 June 2020. PenzaNews. The number of deceased patients with novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 increased in Penza region in the last 24 hours to 22 people – two more lethal outcomes were registered. This is evidenced by data of the communication centre under the government of Russia, relevant at 10.35 on Wednesday, June 3.

During the day, 83 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the region, 2 585 of them were confirmed over the entire period.

The total number of people recovered in Penza region is 2 048. 82 people were discharged in the last 24 hours.

In Russia, 432 277 cases of infection with novel coronavirus were recorded, including the diagnosis of 8 536 people confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Over the entire period, 195 957 people recovered in the country, including 8 972 of them – during the past 24 hours.

The number of deaths increased to 5 215, including 178 deaths registered over the last day.
