Penza, 18 June 2020. PenzaNews. The number of deceased patients with novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 increased in Penza region to 33 people – two lethal outcomes were registered in the last 24 hours. This is evidenced by the data of the communication centre under the government of Russia, relevant at 10.35 on Thursday, June 18.

A record number of patients was discharged in the region in 24 hours – 188 people. The total number of the recovered reached 3 371.

In Penza region 70 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered during the past day, a total of 4 076 cases were confirmed over the entire period.

In Russia, 561 091 cases of infection with novel coronavirus were recorded, including the diagnosis of 7 790 people confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Over the entire period, 313 963 people recovered in the country, 9 621 of them recovered in the past 24 hours.

The number of deaths increased to 7 660, including 182 deaths registered over the day.
