Penza, 26 June 2020. PenzaNews. The number of deceased patients with novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 increased to 38 in Penza region, one fatality was registered during the last day. This is evidenced by data of the communication centre under the government of Russia, relevant at 10.45 on Friday, June 26.

139 patients were discharged in the region during a day, in total 4 239 people recovered.

In Penza region 71 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered over the past day, a total of 4 664 cases were confirmed over the entire period.

In Russia, 620 794 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered, including 6 800 confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Over the entire period, 384 152 people recovered in the country, including 8 988 – during the past 24 hours.

The number of deaths increased to 8 781, including 176 deaths registered over the day.
