Penza, 28 June 2020. PenzaNews. 80 new cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 were registered in Penza region within the last 24 hours, 58 people were discharged from hospital. This is evidenced by the data of the communication centre under the government of Russia, relevant at 10.45 on Sunday, June 28.

A total of 4 819 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in the region. The total number of the recovered is 4 496. Over the entire period, 38 deaths were registered.

In Russia, 634 437 cases of infection with novel coronavirus were recorded, including the diagnosis of 6 791 people confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Over the entire period, 399 087 people recovered in the country, including 5 735 - during the past 24 hours.

The number of deaths increased to 9 073, including 104 deaths registered over the day.
