The number of deceased patients with novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 increased in Penza region to 65 people – two lethal outcomes were registered in the last 24 hours. This is evidenced by the data of the communication centre under the government of Russia, relevant at 10.45 on Sunday, July 12.

34 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in the region. During the whole period 5 733 cases were registered.

The total number of people who recovered in Penza region is 5 146, Three people were discharged during the last day.

In Russia, 727 162 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered, including 6 615 confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Over the entire period, 501 061 people recovered in the country, 3 615 of them recovered in the past 24 hours.

The number of deaths increased to 11 335, including 130 deaths registered over the day.
