Penza, 26 July 2020. PenzaNews. The number of deceased patients with novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 increased to 79 in Penza region, one fatal outcome was registered during the last day. This is evidenced by data of the communication centre under the government of Russia, relevant at 10.30 on Sunday, July 26.

42 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in the region. During the whole period 6 286 cases were registered.

The total number of people recovered in Penza region is 5 415. 13 people were discharged in the last 24 hours.

In Russia, 812 485 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered, including 5 765 confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Over the entire period, 600 250 people recovered in the country, 3 110 of them recovered in the past 24 hours.

The number of deaths increased to 13 269, including 77 deaths registered over the day.
