Penza, 8 October 2020. PenzaNews. 1 740 beds are used for patients with infectious diseases in Penza region to provide medical care in conditions of coronavirus spread. This is stated in the message distributed by the press service of the regional government on Thursday, October 8.

“14 medical organisations and 1 740 beds are used in the region to hospitalise patients with the confirmed diagnosis,” the text says.

It recalls that according to estimates of the Russian Ministry of Health Penza region needs 652 beds for patients with infectious diseases.
