Penza, 15 October 2020. PenzaNews. 150 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Penza region in the last 24 hours and 83 people were discharged from hospital. This is evidenced by data from the Coronavirus Monitoring Information Centre as of 10.30, Thursday, October 15.

A total of 12 574 cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed in the region. The total number of the recovered is 9 832.

142 people died. One fatality was registered in the last 24 hours.

In Russia, 1 354 163 cases of infection with novel coronavirus were recorded, including the diagnosis of 13 754 people confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Over the entire period, 1 048 097 people recovered in the country, including 8 392 – during the past 24 hours.

The number of deaths reached 23 491, including 286 cases during the last day.
