Penza, 7 December 2020. PenzaNews. Penza region is going to receive more than 1 200 doses of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine this week. This was reported by Minister of Health of the region Alexander Nikishin.

“This week we expect the Gam-COVID-Vac (Sputnik V) vaccine to arrive. [...] The volume of the supplied vaccine is over 1 200 doses,” he said during a meeting with the heads of the administrations of municipal and city districts, which was chaired by Governor Ivan Belozertsev via videoconference on Monday, December 7.

Alexander Nikishin added that, first of all, it was planned to vaccinate teachers, doctors and representatives of law enforcement agencies.

At the same time, the minister noted that the number of people to be vaccinated first was greater than the amount of vaccine that was to be delivered to the region.
