Penza, 24 February 2021. PenzaNews. 27 744 people received the first component of the vaccine against COVID-19 in Penza region This was announced by Alexander Nikishin, Minister of Health of the region, during a meeting held at the regional government on Wednesday, February 24.

Alexander Nikishin specifies that about half of the vaccinated are people over the age of 65, and special attention is paid to people with diabetes.

According to him, a total of 38 600 doses of the vaccine were delivered to Penza region.

The minister said that about 15 000 people had signed up for vaccination through the public services portal.
